In 1999 while living and working in Ireland and Spain I helped care for my friend's dog Gaby.  From my deep affection for animals, I became inspired to follow a new path in life.  Upon returning to San Francisco I connected with the San Francisco SPCA and became a volunteer dog walker and also assisted in public dog training classes.  I started a pet sitting business in 2000 and then in 2001 and I became an employee of the San Francisco SPCA in the Adoption Outreach Department.  Over the years I have continued to improve and strengthen my understanding and knowledge of cats and dogs through work, reading, classes and seminars.  In the winter of 2008 I took the plunge!  I went on a leave of absence to complete the 6 week course from the San Francisco SPCA for the  Certificate of Training and Counseling for dog trainers.  Today I still work for the SF/SPCA as the Outreach Coordinator; and in addition to pet sitting in animal's homes I offer personalized, private dog training tailored to the needs of you and your animal.  Please contact me and let's discuss how I can help you!
